This policy explains what personal information Maldives Majesty collects when you use this website or book with us, and how we use it.

1. What we collect

• Booking details: your name, WhatsApp number, email (optional), stay, dates and number of guests.
• Payment details: payments are handled by PayPal. We receive the payment status, amount, transaction ID and the payer's email address. We never receive or store card numbers.
• Messages: information you send us on WhatsApp, such as flight details for airport transfers.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages visited) for security.

2. How we use it

• To confirm and manage your booking, send check-in details and contact you about your stay.
• To process payments and refunds, and to prevent fraud.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• PayPal, to process your payment (see PayPal's privacy statement).
• Our team in Hulhumalé, only as needed to host you (for example cleaning and airport pickup).
• Authorities, where required by Maldivian law.

4. Cookies and third parties

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and maps from Google Maps, which may receive your IP address when those load. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, which is covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

5. How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for your stay and for accounting and legal purposes, and then delete them. Unpaid booking holds are deleted automatically within 2 days.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information at any time, unless we must keep it by law. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll reply as soon as possible.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep booking data on protected servers and limit access to our team.
